There is more and more information about weather – do we know more, by Prof Branislava Lalic and Ljiljana Dekic

Paper “Gazdinstvo” monthly press published extensive text written by Prof Branislava Lalic (PFNS) and Ljiljana Dekic (RHMZ) on the subject of weather with the title “There is more and more information about weather – does that mean that we know more” on Serbian.

“It is difficult to compare sources of weather forecasting in a specific way because it requires long-term monitoring and analysis. Everything else is just an impression. When it comes to selecting the source of information, one of the criteria may be the definition of an ideal forecast. Non-official definition is that is the forecast given by synoptic expert with a lot of experience who uses outputs from well adjusted numerical weather prediction model and observed climatological data.”
