Drought – how to overcome it, by PhD Marina Putnik-Delic

Drought is a phenomenon that occurs when a significant water shortage in a given area occurs over a period of time. Drought is a common occurrence for many areas, which is repeated without apparent regularity. Although it can be found in almost all parts of the world, its characteristics range from region to region. Defining drought is therefore difficult and depends on regional differences and needs, but also on the perspective from which this phenomenon is observed.
